Description

Manage and optimize platform and application tiers to support critical customer-facing applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot environments across the entire architecture from applications to infrastructure.
• Engineer services for scalability, availability, and resiliency using fault isolation and graceful degradation.
• Identify root-cause issues and design corrective actions to improve quality assurance.
• Apply automation and configuration management for provisioning and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical expertise to maximize efficiency and reliability of current infrastructure and emerging technologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on administration experience at the platform and application tiers.
• 5+ years of experience troubleshooting full-stack architectures.
• 3+ years of Linux administration experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Oracle SQL, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, Flink, or Postgres.
• 1+ years supporting service load balancing architectures including F5 and VMware AVI.
• Expertise in observability and monitoring tools such as Glassbox, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, or BigPanda AIOps.
• Proficiency with automation tools including Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Jenkins, GitLab, or Liquibase.
• Functional knowledge of scripting and programming including Javascript, Powershell, Python, Bash, Sql, .net, Java, Php, Ruby, Perl, C++, R, or similar.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud Architect or Engineer Certification (GCP, Azure, or AWS).
• GCP Associate Cloud Engineer (ACE) certification.
