Description

You will administer and maintain Kubernetes clusters, preferably using the Rancher platform, while supporting core system administration tasks across the platform infrastructure. You will ensure platform stability, scalability, and performance, and manage distributed messaging or big data platforms as needed.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Kubernetes clusters, preferably using the Rancher platform.
• Support core system administration tasks across the platform infrastructure.
• Manage distributed messaging or big data platforms as needed, such as Kafka or Hadoop.
• Ensure platform stability, scalability, and performance.
• Maintain system documentation and operational procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in platform or system administration.
• Strong proficiency in Kubernetes Administration.
• Experience with Rancher (Rancher K8 preferred).
• Core System Administration skills.
• Experience with Kafka Administration OR HPE Esmeralda (Hadoop) Administration.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with HPE Esmeralda or advanced Hadoop administration.
