Description

You will design and implement infrastructure solutions across public and private cloud environments, with a specific focus on data pipeline architecture for capacity forecasting.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop data pipeline architectures to extract, aggregate, and analyze infrastructure performance and business data.
• Build simulations and predictive models to forecast infrastructure capacity, trending, and risk needs.
• Automate infrastructure delivery using configuration orchestration and management tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical architecture and recommendations.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes, models, and infrastructure deployments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or platform engineering.
• Experience managing infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Ansible/AAP for infrastructure automation.
• Strong expertise in Linux and Windows systems engineering principles.
• Hands-on experience with Python or UNIX Shell Scripting.
• Experience with Gitlab for source code control and coding practices.
• Background in data pipeline engineering, architecture, and data observability tools like Datadog.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of application and data resiliency across multiple platforms.
• Ability to solve data analysis problems by producing architectural recommendations and functional pipelines.
