Description

You will own the cloud infrastructure provisioning and operational stability for a cloud-based commerce platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic direction and execution of infrastructure, security, CI/CD, and IT operations practices.
• Run day-to-day operations for production and development environments, ensuring high availability.
• Streamline processes to increase system scalability, reliability, and efficiency while minimizing errors.
• Collaborate with Development and QA teams to improve existing features and roll out new services.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering.
• Multi-cloud expertise in Azure and GCP (OCI and AWS experience is not required).
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and GitOps workflows.
• Scripting and tooling skills in Python and Golang.
• CI/CD pipeline management using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with Service Mesh (Istio) and observability tools like OpenTelemetry and Prometheus.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Apache Kafka, and FinOps principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing a "Golden Path" philosophy for developer self-service.
