Description

You will design and maintain platform engineering infrastructure using Python. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage automation and configuration management infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Manage deployment of production code leveraging Docker containers.
• Administer Linux systems and core network protocols.
• Support LDAP services within an enterprise environment.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software engineering experience using Python.
• 8+ years of experience with Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet.
• 6+ years of experience deploying production code using Docker.
• 3+ years of experience building CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps (ADO).
• 3+ years of experience in Java, Perl, or Ruby.
• Proficiency in Linux and network administration, including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP.
• Experience with network technologies such as load balancers, VLAN, IP subnetting, proxies, firewalls, and iptables.
• Experience with cloud services, specifically AWS or Azure (IaaS and PaaS).
• Experience with Git and Jenkins.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Groovy, Go, or Chaos Engineering.
• Knowledge of large-scale distributed systems like Java/Spring Boot, CQRS, event streaming, Kafka, or Spark.
