Description

You will design, deploy, and manage enterprise-scale Red Hat OpenShift clusters in on-premises datacenter environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage highly available, scalable OpenShift platforms, handling cluster lifecycle operations including installation, upgrades, and patching.
• Build and automate infrastructure in datacenter environments, integrating OpenShift with virtualization platforms and developing Infrastructure-as-Code solutions.
• Provide deep Linux system administration, optimizing OS configurations and resolving complex kernel, networking, and storage issues.
• Partner with the SRE team to establish SLOs, implement observability (logging, metrics, tracing), and drive incident remediation.
• Implement RBAC, security policies, and compliance controls within OpenShift, hardening clusters against enterprise security standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in Linux systems engineering (RHEL preferred).
• 3+ years hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift (OCP 4.x preferred).
• Proven experience building infrastructure in on-premises datacenter environments.
• Expertise with automation tools including Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture, networking (DNS, load balancing, SDN), and storage (SAN, NAS, CSI drivers).
• Experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines for platform deployments.
• Proficiency with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK for observability.
