You will design, deploy, and manage enterprise-scale Red Hat OpenShift clusters in on-premises datacenter environments.
This role is on-site.
Responsibilities
Design and manage highly available, scalable OpenShift platforms, handling cluster lifecycle operations including installation, upgrades, and patching.
Build and automate infrastructure in datacenter environments, integrating OpenShift with virtualization platforms and developing Infrastructure-as-Code solutions.
Provide deep Linux system administration, optimizing OS configurations and resolving complex kernel, networking, and storage issues.
Partner with the SRE team to establish SLOs, implement observability (logging, metrics, tracing), and drive incident remediation.
Implement RBAC, security policies, and compliance controls within OpenShift, hardening clusters against enterprise security standards.
Required Skills
5+ years in Linux systems engineering (RHEL preferred).
3+ years hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift (OCP 4.x preferred).
Proven experience building infrastructure in on-premises datacenter environments.
Expertise with automation tools including Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps.
Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture, networking (DNS, load balancing, SDN), and storage (SAN, NAS, CSI drivers).
Experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines for platform deployments.
Proficiency with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK for observability.
