Description

You will build and maintain infrastructure and internal tools to support complex distributed systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build internal software tools to improve engineering workflows.
• Manage infrastructure as code and automate deployments using Terraform and Ansible.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and configuration management.
• Diagnose and resolve performance and availability issues within distributed microservices architectures.
• Administer and architect SQL and NoSQL database systems.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 8+ years of experience building CI/CD pipelines.
• 8+ years of experience with automation and configuration management tools like Ansible or Terraform.
• 6+ years of experience deploying production code using Docker containers.
• 4+ years of automation and scripting experience using Python.
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems such as Java/Spring Boot, CQRS, or Kafka.
• Proficiency with cloud services, specifically AWS and Azure.
• Strong shell scripting skills for system administration and data manipulation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with streaming platforms like Kafka, NATS, Kinesis, or Event Hub.
• Knowledge of Databricks, Apache Spark, or Elasticsearch.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic.
