Description

You will build and maintain automation and configuration management infrastructure for large-scale distributed systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage automation infrastructure using Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Deploy production code leveraging Docker containers.
• Manage network administration tasks including load balancers, VLANs, IP subnetting, proxies, and firewalls.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software engineering experience using Python.
• 8+ years building automation or configuration management infrastructure.
• 6+ years deploying production code using Docker containers.
• 3+ years building CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
• 3+ years experience in Java, Perl, or Ruby.
• Strong background in Linux and network administration (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, routing, iptables).
• Experience with cloud services, specifically AWS or Azure (IaaS and PaaS).
• Experience with distributed systems such as Java/Spring Boot, CQRS, event streaming, Kafka, or Spark.
• Experience using Git and Jenkins for continuous delivery.

Preferred Skills

• Groovy, Go (Golang), or Chaos Engineering.
