Description

You will manage system uptime across cloud-native and hybrid architectures.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build infrastructure as code patterns using Terraform, cloud CLI, and cloud SDKs.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for application and cloud architecture deployment using Jenkins and cloud-native toolchains.
• Create automated tooling for service requests and detailed runbooks for service restoration.
• Triage complex distributed architecture service maps and participate in on-call rotations for high-severity incidents.
• Lead availability blameless postmortems and execute remediation actions to prevent recurrence.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, systems administration, database administration, or networking.
• 2+ years of experience developing or administering software in public cloud environments (AWS, GCP).
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, Java, Go, JavaScript, or Node.js.
• Experience with Terraform, Chef, Ansible, and container technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Strong system administration skills across Linux and Windows.
• Demonstrable knowledge of systems, storage, networking, security, and databases.
• Experience monitoring infrastructure and application uptime to meet performance objectives.
• Proficiency with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.

Preferred Skills

• Google Cloud Certification or experience with Google Kubernetes Engine.
• Experience working with Jenkins and Argo.
