Description

Manage on-premises Appian platform operations and Linux environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer Linux environments, including product and package installations.
• Manage application and patch deployments within the Appian platform.
• Install and verify plug-ins and SSL certificates.
• Execute shell scripting to automate platform processes.
• Perform database support, troubleshooting, and network diagnostics.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in platform support.
• Proficiency in Linux administration and environment management.
• Experience with Appian platform administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with shell scripting.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and MS Azure.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and Kubernetes.
• Experience with RDBMS platforms, specifically MS SQL.
• Network troubleshooting skills using TCP/IP, Wireshark, and VPN.
• Programming knowledge in Java and JavaScript.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) on MS Azure.
• Appian application development experience.
