You will design and implement scalable, reliable platform solutions within a large AWS production environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Automate and streamline platform processes using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code principles.
• Monitor system health and alerts to maintain platform availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across AWS, networking, and application layers.
• Manage SSL/TLS lifecycle, including CSR generation, renewals, and server configuration.
• Maintain and update technical documentation for platform processes and architectures.

Required Skills

• 6-8 years of hands-on experience in a Platform, DevOps, or SRE role within large AWS environments.
• Deep expertise in AWS and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python or Java.
• Experience with container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or IBM UCD/UCR.
• Solid understanding of multi-tiered application architecture and security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with networking concepts, including DMZs, firewalls, and WAF.
• Experience managing application servers like IBM WebSphere or Apache Tomcat.
• Proficiency in Linux/UNIX environments and shell scripting (Bash).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ansible, Docker Swarm, RedHat OpenShift, or Nomad.
• Knowledge of Azure or GCP cloud platforms.
