Description

You will own the design, development, and maintenance of the Internal Developer Platform (IDP).

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain IDP tools to meet engineering team needs.
• Build and enhance self-service capabilities like resource provisioning and CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate multiple tools (Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Helm) into a unified developer experience.
• Automate manual processes to remove friction from the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify pain points and implement productivity improvements.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering.
• 3+ years of experience with DevOps, including CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, and Service Mesh.
• 3+ years of experience with IDP toolsets such as Backstage, Humanitec, or similar platforms.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Go, or JavaScript.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes for service orchestration.
• Experience implementing CI/CD using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices architecture and service mesh (Istio, Cilium).
• Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with security best practices in a developer platform context.
