Description

Lead the design and development of platform solutions while evaluating new technologies to enhance engineering processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-level platform specifications and architecture aligned with business objectives.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and technologies for platform engineering.
• Lead the integration of platform components across cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to engineers to ensure coding standards and best practices.
• Document architectural decisions and mitigate risks associated with platform projects.

Required Skills

• 20+ years of experience in software development and architecture.
• 5+ years of experience as a Lead Architect or Enterprise Architect on large development projects.
• Proficiency in .NET, Java, or Python.
• Experience with cloud providers such as AWS or Azure.
• Deep knowledge of microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with Gen AI, cloud-native development, and DevOps.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and security best practices in platform engineering.
