Description

You will maintain platform stability, support production releases, and troubleshoot distributed systems across AWS, on-prem infrastructure, and microservices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Support production releases and manage deployment workflows despite CI/CD pipelines being managed by separate teams.
• Troubleshoot issues in distributed systems and handle infrastructure tasks such as certificate renewals and upgrades.
• Read, debug, and contribute to code in Angular, Ionic, and Spring Boot environments.
• Ensure security compliance through PCI standards, vulnerability management, and secure development practices.
• Coordinate across engineering, production support, network, and infrastructure teams to resolve complex technical issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional programming experience in software development or platform engineering.
• Strong understanding of AWS services and cloud architecture.
• Experience with Spring Boot, REST services, and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Angular and Ionic frameworks.
• Proficiency in Java for developing programs that interface with multiple applications.
• Knowledge of on-prem infrastructure concepts and deployment workflows.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for distributed systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipeline management and DevOps practices.
• Ability to clearly document processes and explain technical issues to non-experts.
