Own the stability and performance of enterprise-grade Java applications and infrastructure in a 24x7 environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1 and L2 production support for Java-based applications and backend platforms, resolving critical incidents.
• Monitor system health using Dynatrace, SiteScope, and Splunk to detect and mitigate issues.
• Investigate ETL job abends, performance bottlenecks, and system alerts, performing root cause analysis.
• Execute SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting, and support WebSphere Application Server deployments.
• Manage patching activities, certificate renewals, and release deployments across application and infrastructure layers.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in production support and platform engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java application support, Linux/UNIX systems, and SQL.
• Proficient in monitoring and diagnostics tools: Dynatrace, SiteScope, and Splunk.
• Experience managing patching cycles, certificate renewals, and release coordination.
• Foundational understanding of ETL workflows, job dependencies, and data movement.
• Familiarity with WebSphere Application Server (WAS) administration and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and lead incident resolution across development, infrastructure, and client teams.
