Description

Design and develop architecture for embedded infrastructure services within the platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design architecture for platform services including bootup, commissioning, storage management, and thermal management.
• Drive embedded software architecture by collaborating with system software, virtualization, and device driver engineers.
• Provide technical leadership to resolve issues and improve development processes.
• Architect solutions using Linux, Android, and microcontroller RTOSs for storage and device management.
• Document architecture using C4 and model-based frameworks, maintaining version-controlled design artifacts.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in embedded systems design.
• Deep knowledge of Linux and Android OS internals, kernel modules, and embedded hardware integration.
• Proficiency in C++, Java, Python, and Linux kernel programming.
• Experience with hardware abstraction and device driver development.
• Expertise in file systems, RAID, distributed storage, and data replication.
• Familiarity with Layer 2/3 networking concepts (VLAN, OSPF, BGP).
• Experience with Containers, hypervisors, and orchestration in Linux/Android environments.
• Proven experience in provisioning and hardware commissioning.
• Familiarity with SAFe or SCRUM methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with model-based design frameworks.
