Description

You will develop and maintain low-level platform software for networking hardware, including Linux kernel drivers and modules.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop Linux kernel drivers and modules for hardware integration.
• Perform platform bring-up and manage kernel-level software development.
• Debug platform issues using I2C trace analyzers, PCIe, and hardware debuggers.
• Design and execute Python and Shell scripts for platform longevity testing.
• Navigate and manage large-scale codebases within UNIX or IOS environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong C programming skills.
• Hands-on experience with Linux kernel and hardware device drivers.
• Proficiency with debuggers such as Arium, BDI, or GDB.
• Experience with I2C, PCIe, and hardware-level debugging.
• Ability to read and understand PPC, ARM, and X86 assembly code.
• Working knowledge of Shell scripting and Python.
• Familiarity with Ethernet Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies.
• Experience with Unix and source code control systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cloud Networking Technologies.
• Background in end-to-end software development within a network company environment.
