Description

You will manage the deployment, maintenance, and technical support of the Starburst Enterprise Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage platform deployment and configuration on Kubernetes using Helm charts and YAML-based values files.
• Build and maintain Docker images to support scalable deployments and integrations.
• Automate operational workflows and CI/CD processes using Python and GitHub Actions.
• Troubleshoot technical incidents, triage user queries, and assist with user onboarding and data connection setup.
• Perform regular platform updates, patching, and housekeeping including access audits and query log reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application support and maintenance.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes (k8s) and Helm charts.
• Hands-on experience building and managing Docker images.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and YAML.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
• Working knowledge of AWS environments and RDS.
• Technical familiarity with Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Redshift, Hive, and Iceberg.
• Experience with data governance and security tools like Immuta and Apache Ranger.
• Knowledge of dbt, AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, and Power BI.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of additional scripting languages or automation tools.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
