Description

Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend validation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright with Java and/or TypeScript.
• Create and execute automated test scripts for UI, API, and backend validations.
• Perform API testing using RestAssured, Karate, SoapUI, or equivalent tools.
• Validate data through database testing and support Kafka or message-queue testing.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Harness, or similar platforms.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (Java and/or TypeScript).
• Solid automation background using Selenium, RestAssured, Karate, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of Java, OOP concepts, and automation design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with REST API testing and HTTP protocols.
• Experience with test management tools such as Octane, ALM, or JIRA.
• 5+ years of relevant working experience.
