Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright.
• Automate web application testing using TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Develop reusable automation frameworks and improve existing test suites.
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using defect management tools.
• Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test execution results and prepare quality reports.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives.

Required Skills:

• 4–6 years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Selenium concepts (added advantage).
• Experience with API Testing using Postman, REST APIs, or REST Assured.
• Knowledge of Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
• Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
• Good understanding of SQL for database validation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Familiarity with test reporting tools like Allure or Extent Reports.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
