Description

You will design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript, building stable and reusable frameworks.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable automation frameworks and reusable components using Playwright and JavaScript.
• Create and optimize XPath/CSS locator strategies for dynamic UI elements to ensure robust selectors.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze failures, and perform root-cause analysis for flaky tests.
• Participate in test planning, case design, and validation of critical flows, including functional, regression, and smoke testing.
• Validate backend data consistency using SQL queries and support release validation activities.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and JavaScript for framework development and scripting.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Deep understanding of web automation concepts, including sync/async handling, waits, and assertions.
• Proficiency in XPath and CSS locator strategies, particularly for dynamic elements.
• Experience with SQL for data validation and backend verification.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving test failures.
• Solid grasp of QA fundamentals, including test design, defect lifecycle, and Page Object Model.

Preferred Skills

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to clarify acceptance criteria and improve testability.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
