Description
You will manage process control programming, hardware requirements, and system maintenance within a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise process control programming and perform maintenance on existing systems, including software backups.
- Test and validate program logic while preparing standard documentation for all developed programs.
- Design control panels, including layouts, bills of materials, and wiring schematics.
- Execute capital projects by coordinating with contractors and maintenance teams to meet productivity goals.
- Develop computer programs for troubleshooting and create training modules for maintenance staff.
Required Skills
- 5 years of experience in industrial automation and process control.
- Proficiency in PLC programming, specifically Allen Bradley and GE Fanuc.
- Experience with HMI programming and configuration using Wonderware and Rockwell Software.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Databases and process control theory.
- Ability to read and red-line P&ID drawings.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering practices and industrial instrumentation.
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Process Engineering.
- Capability to analyze technical process-related data.
- Physical ability to lift up to 100lbs and work in warm/hot plant environments.
- Compliance with ITAR and/or EAR requirements.
Preferred Skills
- Working knowledge of motors, drives, and various field devices.
