Description

You will design and maintain machine and equipment controls within a medical device manufacturing environment in Elkton, MD.

Responsibilities

• Program and configure Allen-Bradley Logix PLC systems.
• Design HMI and SCADA interfaces using FactoryTalk View.
• Execute validation protocols including IQ, OQ, and PQ.
• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on industrial equipment.
• Maintain compliance with 21CFR Part 11 standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in machine and equipment controls.
• 7-10 years of PLC programming experience with Allen-Bradley Logix.
• 5 years of HMI/SCADA design experience using FactoryTalk View.
• 5+ years of experience in the medical device industry.
• Hands-on experience with Cognex or Keyence vision systems.
• Proficiency with EtherNet/IP industrial networks.
• Working knowledge of VFDs and common system interfaces.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, logic diagrams, and Process & Instrumentation Drawings.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to diagram using CAD software.
• Experience with low-voltage electrical design and layout.
