Description

You will program and configure PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for water and wastewater treatment applications.

Responsibilities

• Program Allen Bradley PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems using ControlLogix, RSLogix5000, and FactoryTalk View.
• Configure and test PLC data and IO networks to ensure reliable communication.
• Interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, process design guidelines, and network architectures.
• Design process control strategies prioritizing operator and equipment safety.
• Support field service teams during commissioning, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

Required Skills

• 2-5 years of experience developing Rockwell-based PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs.
• Hands-on experience with ControlLogix, RSLogix5000, and FactoryTalk View (Machine or Site Edition).
• Ability to read and process engineering documents, including P&IDs and electrical schematics.
• Experience with automation testing in simulation or field environments.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Strong technical communication skills for professional and formal documentation.
• Proven ability to follow established procedures and standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with water treatment technologies such as RO/ED, UF/MBR, Ion Exchange, or Thermal systems.
