You will manage controls equipment integration and logic development for automotive manufacturing systems in Dearborn, MI.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop process flow diagrams and map customer requirements to system designs.
• Create custom PLC code and modify standard templates or AOLs for plant-specific needs.
• Modify Allen-Bradley PanelView HMI code to meet site requirements.
• Integrate NGAVS with vehicle operations tooling and process control systems.
• Collaborate with vendor engineers to install, test, and debug standard logic and drivers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Rockwell Allen-Bradley PLC5 and ControlLogix in automobile manufacturing.
• 5+ years of experience with Allen-Bradley PanelView HMIs.
• Proficiency with Rockwell FactoryTalk Production Center.
• Hands-on experience with Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, Profinet, and Profibus networking.
• Experience using SmartEye vehicle identification systems.
• Experience with SICK barcode scanners, Keyence, or Cognex.
• Ability to direct agency personnel or third-party controls integrators.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
