Description

You will design and program control systems for oilfield high-power surface skid-mounted equipment, including pumps, valves, and centrifuges.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop PLC programming, HMI, and SCADA configurations for mobile equipment controls.
• Design control panels, including GA, IGA, wiring, schematics, and BOM using AutoCAD.
• Create instrument datasheets, schematic drawings, hook-up diagrams, and instrument loop wiring drawings.
• Select and specify equipment and sensors for low-power system designs and automation.
• Execute verification and validation test design and supervision for sensor and actuator integration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in automation and control systems within Power, Oil & Gas, or similar sectors.
• Proficiency in Siemens Step 7 programming for 300 Series and TIA Portal for 1500 Series.
• Hands-on experience with programming languages including FBD, LAD, SCL, and CFC.
• Expertise in Siemens WinCC, WinCC Flexible, and TIA Portal WinCC Unified.
• Strong knowledge of Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC platforms.
• Experience with PID controllers, control loops, and ladder diagram logic.
• Competency in system networks, communication protocols, and communication media.
• Ability to design LV systems, wiring, enclosures, and high voltage/high power systems.

Preferred Skills

• LabVIEW and National Instruments cRIO hardware platform experience.
• Process controls experience in factory PLC environments.
