Description

You will serve as a technical expert in the design, coding, testing, and debugging of new software and system enhancements for third-party customers.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software specifications to resolve technical issues identified by staff and customers.
• Debug and test new software or significant enhancements to existing systems.
• Resolve customer complaints and implement suggestions for software improvements.
• Write software user manuals and provide training to less-experienced development staff.
• Lead less complex projects and collaborate with technical teams to solve software problems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in PLC programming within an industrial automation environment.
• Proficiency in ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram languages.
• Hands-on experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Schneider Electric platforms.
• Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols including Profibus, Modbus, and Ethernet/IP.
• Experience with HMI development and integration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to travel occasionally for project assignments or client support.
