Description

You will design, program, and validate control systems for power projects, oil and gas, and mobile equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop PLC programming, HMI, and SCADA interfaces using Ladder logic, FBD, SCL, and CFC languages.
• Design control panels including GA, IGA, wiring schematics, and BOM using AutoCAD.
• Engineer instrument loop wiring, schematic drawings, hook-up diagrams, and instrument datasheets.
• Select and specify equipment, sensors, and actuators for high power surface skid mounted equipment like pumps, valves, and centrifuges.
• Execute verification and validation test design and supervision for automation low power system designs.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in automation and control systems.
• Proficiency in Siemens Step 7 for 300 Series and TIA Portal for 1500 Series controllers.
• Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC platforms.
• Expertise in Siemens WinCC, WinCC Flexible, and TIA Portal WinCC Unified.
• Deep understanding of PID controllers, control loops, and communication protocols.
• Experience with LV design, wiring, enclosure, and high voltage/high power systems design.
• Knowledge of system networks and communication media.
• Competency in PLC and HMI simulators.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with LabVIEW and National Instruments cRIO hardware platforms.
• Process controls experience in factory PLC environments.
