PLC Programmer

Develop and maintain PLC operating programs to ensure safe and optimal equipment performance.

Responsibilities

• Write PLC operating programs based on control specifications and standards.
• Publish concise operating instructions detailing control parameters and failure condition responses.
• Analyze and interpret existing programs and documentation for project modifications.
• Provide technical assistance and training to customers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with consulting engineers and end users to ensure proper system layouts and designs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in electrical and controls design.
• Applied knowledge in Siemens programming.
• Proficiency with PLC programs and OIT programs.
• Working knowledge of instruments and electro-mechanical devices used for process control.
• Strong understanding of computer operations and Microsoft Office.
• B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Ability to travel approximately 40% to customer sites.

• Experience working in a regulated industry.
