Description

You will design, develop, and support Health Insurance applications using mainframe technologies, balancing feature development with production support.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain health insurance applications using PL/I, IMS DB, and DB2.
• Execute production support tasks, including debugging with IDB/IDZ and resolving open action items.
• Deploy code using Git and manage CI/CD pipelines in an Agile environment.
• Coordinate with Product Owners and Business Units to drive requirements to closure.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in PL/I, IMS DB, DB2, JCL, and SORT.
• Hands-on experience with SAS, REXX, COBOL, and VSAM.
• Experience with Webservices, REST APIs, JSON, and Message Queues (MQ).
• Proficiency in scheduling tools like Control-M.
• Ability to debug using IDB/IDZ and manage deployments via Git.
• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience.

Preferred Skills

• Awareness of AWS cloud services and AI capabilities.
