Description

Design, develop, and support health insurance applications using mainframe technologies, covering both development and production support.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop health applications using PL/I, IMSDB, and DB2.
• Perform production support and debug issues using IDB and IDZ.
• Push and deploy code using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Coordinate with product owners and business units to close open action items.

Required Skills

• PL/I, IMSDB, DB2, JCL, and SORT (10+ years experience).
• Health Insurance applications development and support.
• COBOL, SAS, REXX, and VSAM.
• Web services, REST API, JSON, and Message Queues (MQ).
• Control-M for scheduling.
• Git, CI/CD, and pipeline management.

Preferred Skills

• AWS cloud awareness and AI capabilities.
