Description

Develop, optimize, and maintain PL/SQL code and Oracle database structures for high-performance applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PL/SQL objects including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
• Design and implement efficient normalized and denormalized database structures.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and tune PL/SQL code and database performance using SQL Developer or TOAD.
• Support database migrations, upgrades, and data integration tasks while maintaining technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in PL/SQL development and Oracle database management.
• Expertise in writing and tuning complex SQL queries for high-performance applications.
• Proven experience in database design, including both normalized and denormalized structures.
• Strong skills in query optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience with data integration and database migration practices.
• Proficiency with debugging tools such as SQL Developer or TOAD.
• Ability to collaborate with application developers and business analysts to gather requirements.
• Experience with version control and maintaining coding standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience conducting regular system health checks and performance reviews.
• Knowledge of database security, integrity, and compliance standards.
