Description

You will develop and manage Oracle relational models and database structures to support scientific user requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead database transformation and development projects from design through successful implementation.
• Develop and maintain Oracle database objects including tables, triggers, views, procedures, functions, and packages.
• Perform database test development and performance tuning to optimize system efficiency.
• Execute data extraction and manage data movement using Oracle Data Pump.
• Document technical solutions and communicate complex database concepts to clients and users.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Relational modeling and database development.
• 3+ years of experience working with Oracle Database DDL, DML, and core concepts.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL and SQL languages.
• Experience using SQLplus, SQLcli, or SQL Developer.
• Hands-on experience with modeling tools such as SQLmodeler, ERWIN, or TOAD.
• Experience with database version control using VSS or equivalent tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
