Description

You will manage the development, testing, and deployment of Oracle-based database applications and data models.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, test, debug, and repair existing PL/SQL applications and new business rules.
• Design and implement Oracle objects including packages, functions, procedures, triggers, materialized views, and DBLinks.
• Package and configure Oracle object components for deployment across development, test, and production environments.
• Evaluate and enhance SQL performance and maintain documentation for data models and programming objects.
• Collaborate with Architects, DBAs, and Business Intelligence staff to align data initiatives and reporting requirements.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of SQL programming experience.
• 12+ years of PL/SQL programming experience.
• Active Oracle PL/SQL certification.
• Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL (Packages, Functions, Procedures, Triggers, Materialized Views, DBLinks, and Oracle Jobs).
• Experience with reverse engineering, refactoring PL/SQL code, and ETL programming.
• Knowledge of Data Warehouse/Data Mart design and asynchronous event-driven applications.
• Proficiency with BI Publisher, Java syntax, XML syntax and parsing, and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Strong understanding of relational data concepts and data model enhancement.
• Ability to work in an agile environment with multiple concurrent priorities.
