Description

Work on the UI Tax Project in an Agile environment to enhance mission-critical applications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements to design scalable database structures, objects, and stored procedures.
• Develop and tune complex SQL code to ensure performance and data integrity across large datasets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues within an Oracle environment.
• Review and optimize code to maintain quality standards and best practices.
• Design and implement approaches to improve database capacity, performance, and scalability.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with SQL and PL/SQL.
• 10+ years of experience working with Oracle databases.
• 10+ years of experience tuning complex SQL code for large datasets.
• 10+ years of experience troubleshooting Oracle database performance issues.
• 10+ years of experience with Toad, SQL Developer, or PL/SQL Developer tools.
• 10+ years of experience with ETL tools such as Pentaho Kettle or Informatica.
• 10+ years of experience with SVN or Git.
• 10+ years of experience using Atlassian Suite, including Jira and Confluence.
• 10+ years of experience in database design and scalability implementation.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of experience migrating from Oracle to MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• 5+ years of experience with database migration to cloud environments.
• Experience with Elasticsearch, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
