Description

You will own the development and optimization of database structures and stored procedures for the UI Tax Project within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements to design scalable database structures, objects, and stored procedures.
• Write, review, and tune complex SQL code to ensure data integrity across large datasets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues within an Oracle environment.
• Design and implement strategies to improve database capacity, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate with managers and peers to address database capabilities and technical problems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with SQL and PL/SQL.
• 10+ years of experience with Oracle database and performance tuning.
• 10+ years of experience using Toad, SQL Developer, or PL/SQL Developer.
• 10+ years of experience with ETL tools such as Pentaho Kettle or Informatica.
• 10+ years of experience with SVN or Git.
• 10+ years of experience using Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence).
• 10+ years of experience analyzing and tuning complex SQL for large data sets.
• 10+ years of experience in database design and scalability implementation.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating from Oracle to MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Elasticsearch, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• 5+ years of experience with database migration to a cloud environment.
