Description

Develop and maintain complex Oracle database logic while supporting large-scale data migrations in Durham, NC.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and debug complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers handling large data sets.
• Triage technical issues to identify root causes and implement remediation steps using Oracle PL/SQL.
• Perform peer testing, code reviews, and impact analysis on modules developed by team members.
• Coordinate with Business Analysts and testing teams to resolve system tickets and defects.
• Mentor junior team members and document inadequate processes or technical areas.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in SQL, PL/SQL, and core Java development.
• Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, including Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, and Hints.
• Advanced knowledge of Collections and complex PL/SQL communications with Oracle.
• Proficiency in performance tuning, handling database locks, and using DBLinks.
• Experience writing and debugging UNIX shell scripts.
• Hands-on experience with version control tools such as GitHub, Stash, ClearCase, or AngularSourceTree.
• Experience with release management tools like Jenkins or Buildforge.
• Competency with ALM tools including JIRA or PPM.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Spring Boot and UI development.
• Experience in the US Health benefits/Healthcare domain.
• Exposure to Oracle Applications (R12).
