Description

You will own the database architecture and performance for the UI Tax Project in an Agile environment.

You will analyze requirements to build scalable database structures, objects, and stored procedures. Write, review, and tune complex SQL code to ensure data integrity across large datasets. Troubleshoot database performance issues within an Oracle environment. Design and implement approaches to improve database capacity and scalability. Collaborate with managers and peers to resolve database capability and performance issues.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in database development.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Extensive experience with Oracle database.
• Expertise in performance tuning.
• Ability to work within an Agile methodology.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating from Oracle to MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Elasticsearch, GitLab, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with database migration to a cloud environment.
