Description

You design, develop, and maintain database applications throughout the SDLC, owning everything from schema objects to performance tuning.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop database objects including tables, views, sequences, synonyms, and indexes.
• Write complex SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures to extract data from multiple source tables.
• Optimize query performance and troubleshoot issues using explain plans.
• Manage data loading processes using SQL*Loader and PL/SQL across different file formats.
• Write scheduler jobs and manage code migration from development to staging environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
• Expertise in developing packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and exception handling.
• Proficiency with Oracle tools such as SQL*Plus, SQL Developer, and Toad.
• Hands-on experience with Ref-Cursors, PL/SQL Tables, Materialized Views, and Dynamic SQL.
• Experience with Oracle RAC and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of requirement gathering, analysis, and application design.
