Description

Develop and maintain database schemas and highly optimized code for multi-terabyte environments. You will design logical and physical databases, including table spaces, views, and indexes, while documenting technical work and coding methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design logical and physical database structures, including table spaces, views, and indexes.
• Write, maintain, and automate code execution to meet project requirements.
• Build and execute SSIS packages to support data workflows.
• Develop highly optimized PL/SQL and PL/pgSQL code for data retrieval from large-scale databases.
• Collaborate with technical teams using Agile methodologies, including continuous integration and unit testing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database development.
• Expertise in PL/SQL, PL/pgSQL, and SQL.
• Proficiency with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
• Experience with Cassandra and Redshift.
• Knowledge of JDBC and XML.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise IT environments.
• Practical application of Agile delivery, including CI/CD and refactoring.
• Strong understanding of database schema properties and data structures.
• B.Tech degree.
