Description

You will design, develop, and maintain Oracle database objects and PL/SQL packages for the CAPP project, focusing on data migration and ongoing maintenance. You will also support additional projects as capacity allows, collaborating with Data Architects and DBAs on performance tuning and code reviews.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Oracle database objects including tables, views, indexes, triggers, and constraints.
• Develop and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions for business logic, data services, and ETL processes.
• Lead data migration and conversion tasks for new implementations, upgrades, and system integrations.
• Develop and consume SOAP/REST web services for data integrations between internal systems and vendor-hosted COTS solutions.
• Analyze data and metadata to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with agency standards.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL development, including packages, procedures, and functions.
• 8+ years of experience using Oracle development tools such as Toad and/or SQL Developer.
• 8+ years of experience designing, creating, and maintaining Oracle database objects.
• 8+ years of experience with logical and physical data modeling, including database normalization.
• 8+ years of experience with database programming for data migration and data conversion.
• 8+ years of experience developing and integrating web services using SOAP and/or REST.
• 8+ years of experience in data analysis, data quality management, and metadata management.
• Proven experience supporting or integrating vendor-hosted or COTS systems.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
