Description

Develop, maintain, and support in-house and vendor applications across data warehouse, database, and business intelligence environments.

You will own the release pipeline and data quality for complex banking systems.

Responsibilities

• Code, test, and review stored procedures, scripts, database objects, indices, and triggers.
• Execute SQL performance tuning by interpreting execution plans and remediating query bottlenecks.
• Perform detailed data analysis to determine structure, content, and quality of source systems.
• Manage database objects including schemas, users, roles, privileges, and session monitoring.
• Support UAT testing efforts and document issues throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Oracle databases (SQL, PL/SQL, and basic administration).
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Linux/Unix and Python scripting, including error handling.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Linux administration and development.
• Proven experience working within the banking industry.
• Strong understanding of ETL design, implementation, and data quality techniques.
• Proficiency in Data Modeling and Database Query Optimization.
• Experience with Computer Associates Autosys scheduler or similar monitoring tools.
• Practical knowledge of Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Atlas2 Infocenter BNP Paribas applications.
• Familiarity with CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration).
