Description

You will develop and maintain backend software for mission-critical applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Write, refactor, and debug clean, scalable code based on business requirement documents.
• Optimize existing software and troubleshoot defects in legacy code.
• Perform unit testing and prepare applications for deployment.
• Participate in requirements analysis and collaborate with internal teams to produce software.
• Provide production support and third-tier help desk assistance on assigned weekends or holidays.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of backend-focused development using Oracle PL/SQL at an expert level.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a PL/SQL Application Developer using Toad and SQL Plus.
• Proven ability to create queries, views, packages, functions, and stored procedures.
• Experience with ETL processes and integrating data from various sources into the backend.
• Proficiency with collections, async processes, and complex DML.
• Ability to interpret execution plans to optimize queries and functions.
• Intermediate level experience with TSQL development.
• Experience working with source control across multiple simultaneous branches.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Strong ability to bridge technical implementation with business requirements through clear communication.
