Job Description: We are looking for a PL/PG SQL developer who is responsible for building DB application related changes. Should be able to understand the functional and technical requirements and able to translate them into technical code with minimal support. Should be capable enough to quickly understand the Database and table structure of our platform and able to develop modifications and new changes as applicable based on the requirement. Should be able to quickly assess the existing database packages and procedures and able to make the required changes without impacting the performance of the SQL. A commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and product quality with respect to individual delivery is essential.Experience:3-4 years code development experience in PL or PG SQL related projects

Responsibilities: Translate application storyboards and use cases into Technical solutions Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable DB code Understand the Database and table structures currently followed in the program and make the appropriate changes around them. Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes Understand and modify existing database schemas , packages, procedure and functions as per the business requirements Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems Help maintain code quality and, automatization

Skills & Qualification Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field. Previous experience working as a PL/PG SQL developer.

Proficient in:Oracle/Postgress PL/PG SQL (procedures, functions, triggers, packages, Collections, Indexes, Types)SQL performance tuning and optimization Database design and normalization Problem-solving skills and a good understanding of data structures and algorithms. Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GitInnovative thinker with strong problem-solving skills GitHub Co-pilot knowledge is an advantag
