Description

Develop and optimize database logic and automation scripts for an investment business context.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and triggers in Oracle 12c or higher.
• Perform database tuning, troubleshooting, and management to ensure performance and security.
• Develop and maintain UNIX shell scripts for automation and data manipulation.
• Integrate Java applications with JMS for enterprise messaging.
• Manage CI/CD processes and job scheduling using automation tools.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database and software development.
• Expertise in Oracle databases (12c and above).
• Proficiency in UNIX scripting (versions 6/7/8).
• Hands-on experience with Java (v6 and above) and JMS.
• Experience with Git for version control and repository management.
• Competency with AWS services for application deployment and scalability.
• Practical use of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Harness.
• Experience with JIRA for issue tracking and project management.
• Proficiency in job scheduling with Autosys or Korn Job.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JCL software.
• Deep understanding of investment business processes and regulatory requirements.
