Description

You will build and maintain complex ETL workflows and database structures within a data warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop complex ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter to ingest data from flat files, RDBMS, Hive, and REST APIs.
  • Write advanced PL/SQL code, including functions, complex SQL queries, and the creation of views and materialized views.
  • Design and implement Unix scripting and automate tasks using Autosys.
  • Perform unit testing, develop test cases, and conduct performance tuning for sources, targets, mappings, and SQL queries.
  • Coordinate with distributed teams and provide regular task status updates to management.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in PL/SQL programming and database design.
  • Expertise in Informatica PowerCenter for ETL development.
  • Strong proficiency in Unix commands and scripting.
  • Deep understanding of RDBMS, Hive, and data mapping.
  • Experience with Autosys for job scheduling.
  • Strong analytical skills for data analysis and performance tuning.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Python programming.
  • Experience with Tableau or general reporting tools.
  • Previous experience working on data warehouse projects.
