Description

You will develop and maintain backend database logic and system workflows for railway operations management.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PL/SQL code to support ingestion of legal agreements, complex rate conditions, and business rules.
• Monitor and maintain system workflows using Control-M job scheduling to ensure processes run on time.
• Execute and manage shell scripts within a Linux environment to support backend processing and database interactions.
• Isolate or rewrite system components to improve functionality, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with C# developers, IT teams, and business analysts to align backend processes with business requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend database development and integration.
• Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, including writing complex stored procedures, packages, and triggers.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and shell scripting for automating backend processes.
• Experience using Control-M or similar job scheduling systems to monitor, trace, and troubleshoot jobs.
• Proven ability to trace through Oracle databases to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Ability to work independently to solve complex problems and recommend technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with developers and stakeholders.
• Any Graduate degree.
