Description

You will develop and maintain database logic and automate processes using PL/SQL and Unix scripting.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Develop and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts for job automation and batch processing.
• Write efficient SQL queries and optimize performance using explain plans and indexing strategies.
• Handle file processing (.dat, .ctl, .csv) and SQL*Loader-based integrations.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production jobs and resolve performance issues.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in database development.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL.
• Advanced SQL, including joins and analytic functions.
• Experience with performance tuning and query optimization.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux shell scripting (Bash/ksh).
• Hands-on experience with SQL*Loader and partitioning concepts.
• Familiarity with file handling and automation using tools like awk, sed, grep.
• Knowledge of Oracle architecture.
