Description

You will lead large-scale data management and analytics projects from conception through to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Gather functional and non-functional requirements for analytics, reporting, and data feeds.
• Provide solution options for reporting and data consumption using Guidewire Insurance Suite components including Policy Center, Data Hub, and Info Center.
• Advise clients on data integration approaches and CDA Data ingestion patterns from Guidewire Cloud Platform.
• Perform data profiling in legacy systems using SQL to understand models and relationships for consolidated database creation.
• Map data elements to Guidewire Raw tables and develop specifications to address identified data gaps.
• Guide downstream consumers on pulling information from cloud-based EDW and DataHub layers via database queries.
• Coordinate with technical teams, BAs, and architects to ensure timely development and defect resolution.
• Support testing activities by guiding the development of test scenarios for data flowing into EDW and DataHub.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of project management experience, with 3+ years focused on data management or analytics.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban.
• Deep understanding of data systems, data analytics, and ETL processes.
• Experience with cloud-based environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and profiling.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Hands-on use of project management tools such as Jira or Trello.
• Knowledge of database technologies including SQL or NoSQL.
• Experience with personal line insurance products and insurance company data solutions.
