Description

You will own the end-to-end technical architecture and implementation of Polarion ALM solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Polarion customizations, including workflow automations, trigger scripts, macros, and custom LiveReports.
• Develop integrations using Core Java and REST APIs to connect Polarion with other systems.
• Translate business requirements and pain points into functional data models.
• Drive the full software development lifecycle from requirements management to defect tracking and testing.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and integration testing phases to ensure solution stability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development and ALM solution architecture.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Siemens Polarion as an end user, power user, and developer.
• Proficiency in Core Java and developing integrations via REST APIs.
• Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) across Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience with workflow automation, trigger scripts, and custom LiveReports within Polarion.
• Practical knowledge of Software Source Control, Defect Tracking, and Requirements Management.
• Basic understanding of OSLC APIs and OSLC-based integrations.
• Ability to apply SDK/API knowledge to build complex system integrations.
• Degree in any graduate field.
